Story reference

The Project that I am going to be undertaking this year is to produce a 2d and 3d animated short that is loosely based on a folk tale. From as long as I can remember I have always been interested by this tales, and can count myself fortunate to have been told ones that come from differing cultures.

Most of the stories I have been looking into have originated from the slavic region, as I am very interested by the dark concepts that are put across in these stories. The characters themselves are flawed, and feel a lot more human. Whilst the villains come across more supernatural than in usual tales, which makes them seem more scary to a younger child. These are two of the main reasons why I am so interested in making this into an animation as the imagery conveyed through these stories would be very beautiful when put into a moving arts medium.
3rd Year-AAARRRRGGGHHH!

Ha ha Only kidding! As you might be aware from the title I am now into my third year or study, and I am hopefully more skilled and wiser than when I started. Only time will tell!

Anyway I am going to be documenting my progress in this the last of years, and I am inviting you to follow me as I proceed through.
